The courtyard is situated at the heart of the property, conveniently positioned outside the kitchen. During the summer months it becomes the ideal place to enjoy al fresco dining. From lazy breakfasts to long lunches then once again in the evening to enjoy balmy evening meals under the night sky. The table is large and easily seats 8-10 people. Most of the rooms in the house have a window opening onto this area and it really is the heart of the property.

Leading from the courtyard is the large barn which is neatly tucked away. Here you will enjoy a safe play area for the children out of the glare of the sun. It is stocked with a badminton net and racquets, a basketball hoop, table tennis and darts for all the family to enjoy. Much of the barn is covered in a synthetic grass which makes it an ideal surface upon which to play.

The barn also houses the bikes which Maison Cruzy has to offer its guests, but please be advised that if any damage (such as punctures) is incurred during use we do expect repairs to be made.

Roof Terrace

The roof terrace is situated on the 2nd floor of the property and can only be accessed from the 2nd floor bedroom. It is completely private and has the benefit of a southerly aspect so enjoys the sun all day long. It is comfortably furnished and is an ideal spot to escape and enjoy quiet reading or afternoon siestas. However, later in the evening it has become one of the favourite areas in Maison Cruzy to enjoy the fabulous night sky with a glass of wine.
