The ‘Sentier Cathar‘ or Cathar Trail is France’s most famous horse-riding trail – passing 2 Cathar castle ruins as it weaves its way from the Mediterranean, through the foothills of the Pyrénées to Foix.
The ‘Circuit des Trabucayres‘ also takes you through the Pyrénées.
Close by is Mirepeisset and L’Appaloosa just outside Montouliers.
